Our Programs & Retreats
St. Mary’s Sewanee offers personal and group programs designed to foster spiritual growth and interests. Whether you are interested in a Centering Prayer, Mindfulness Meditation, Spirituality-based retreat or would like to participate in one of our monthly noon-time Lunch and Learn series, we offer a program for spiritual resurgence and reflection for your journey of faith.
Most weekend programs begin at 6 p.m. on Fridays and conclude on Sundays at 11 a.m.

Recurring events such as our Lunch and Learn, yoga classes and Bodywork offer a planned time for groups and individuals to gather at St. Mary’s Sewanee throughout the year.
Lunch and Learn
The Academy of Lifelong Learning at St. Mary’s Sewanee provides monthly opportunities to local residents and visitors to hear varying topics from presenting speakers. A small annual membership fee of $10 entitles you to a full year of admission to these lunches designed to offer creative and cultural spiritual experiences. Optional box lunches are available for $10. Programs are generally held the second Thursday of the month. They begin at noon and last for an hour.
St. Mary’s Sewanee offers yoga classes for individuals and groups at times. St. Mary's Sewanee is happy to announce that Sandra Gilbert will be our new yoga instructor. Her first day will be this coming Monday, October 7th. Sandra will have group classes every Monday 9:00-10:30 am and 5:30-7:00 pm. Drop in rates are $12.00 per class or $60.00 for 6 classes if purchased in advance. She will also offer private classes on Mondays, which can booked directly through her at firstname.lastname@example.org or718-490-7125.
Sunset Serenade is our annual event fundraiser. It is held on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. It is a wonderful evening filled with music, food and a silent auction. All proceeds benefit the Center.
