Clergy Sabbath
March 24 - 26, Monday 12 p.m. until Wednesday 11 a.m.Join an interdenominational gathering for rest and re-creation after Easter Sunday. This 3-day program is designed as a sacred pause for clergy, a chance to let the inner well begin to fill again. To support this refreshment there will be ample unstructured time to spend indoors or outside, in company or in quiet. Take a walk along the bluff to look for early wildflowers, read, nap or play golf at a charming course on the nearby campus of the University of the South. Dr. Ben Curtis, a spiritual guide known for his wisdom, kindness and good humor, will lead a series of conversations using Parker Palmer’s reflections on the season of spring from his little classic Let Your Life Speak: Listening for the Voice of Vocation.
