The Journey of the Beloved: Healing Our Identity in God

November 14 - 16, Friday 6 p.m. until Sunday 11 a.m.

The Journey of the Beloved is a guided retreat that seeks to explore and heal our deepest identity in God. Following Lukes account of the journey of Jesus through his baptism, temptation and return to Nazareth, we hear Him being named, claimed, and sent as the Beloved Son into the world to anoint others with the unconditional love of God. Drawing on the thought of Henri Nouwen, Jean Vanier, Martin Luther King, Jr. and other spiritual writers and poets along with sacred art and music, we will seek to understand what it means for us to journey alone and together as the beloved daughters and sons of God.
