Befriending Life: The Practice of Lovingkindness
September 12 - 14, Friday 6 p.m. until Sunday 11 a.m.The question at the heart of this program is this: Will you engage this moment with kindness or with cruelty, with love or with fear, with generosity or with scarcity, with a joyous heart or an embittered one? This retreat helps you choose rightly, opting for lovingkindness again and again. We will explore a variety of tools for cultivating lovingkindness drawn from many religious perspectives. This is an interspiritual exploration of compassion, the core value of all authentic religious practice.
