Centering Prayer is a receptive method of Christian silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer. In this prayer we experience God’s presence and action within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself.
In this online workshop participants will learn the method of this way of praying as well as some of the conceptual background that underlies it. They will also have an opportunity to experience this prayer.
Suggestions will be offered to enable participants to continue this practice on a daily basis.
This workshop will be led by Tom Ward and Rebecca Paluzzi.
