Lectio Divina literally means “divine reading”. It is an ancient practice of praying the Scriptures. During the prayer period, the pray-er listens to a brief passage with “the ear of the heart” in conversation with God. In this one day workshop participants will learn how to practice Lectio Divina, as well as hearing something of its history in the Christian tradition. They will also be given an opportunity to experience the process. As with Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina leads to contemplative prayer. Unlike Centering Prayer, thoughts, images, and insights are fostered as steps to intimacy with God. Both are part of the transformation process, restoring the one praying to union with God.

Cancellation Policy:
A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for any cancellation after 3 days of registering.
Full payment is due with all registrations for one day workshops.
