Starfish: A radical exploration into Jewish and Christian Mysticism

The Divine is within you and around you. (Luke 17:21)

Split a log and I am there; turn over a stone and find me there. (Gospel of Thomas 77)

Join Rabbi Rami and Rev. Gordon as they split the logs and overturn the stones of non-dual Jewish and Christian mysticism, and use the teachings and practices of each to reveal the Divine within and without. Our goal in this Season of Light is to receive the gifts of the spirit that enlighten our hearts and minds to perceive the unity of all creation and to become a blessing to ourselves and all the families of the earth.

The Rev. Dr. Gordon Peerman is an Episcopal priest and psychotherapist in private practice in Nashville, TN. He leads One River Wisdom School Nashville, which meets weekly at Second Presbyterian Church. Gordon is the author of Blessed Relief: What Christians Can Learn from Buddhists about Suffering.

Rabbi Rami is an author, lecturer, and podcast host. A congregational rabbi for 20 years and a Professor of Religious Studies for 10, Rabbi Rami writes the Roadside Assistance for the Spiritual Traveler column for Spirituality and Health magazine, and hosts the magazine’s weekly podcast, Essential Conversations with Rabbi Rami ( Among Rami’s many books are Perennial Wisdom for the Spiritually Independent and The World Wisdom Bible.
