One River Wisdom Retreat: Being a Blessing
Sewanee, TN 37375
The Book of Genesis challenges us to “be a blessing to all the families of the earth,” (Genesis 12:3). The question is, “How?” This weekend we focus on how to be a source of blessing through the cultivation of such practices as metta (lovingkindness), tonglen (giving and receiving), brachot (reciting 100 blessings each day), Naikan (inner seeing), and more. Our goal is to provide you with a toolbox of blessing techniques you can adopt and adapt to your daily life in order to bring a bit of healing and peace to those you meet.
