One River Wisdom School: A Masterclass in Nonduality
Onsite Weekend Retreat
Humanity stands at the crossroads of horror and hope. To choose hope, we must seed a new consciousness rooted in nonduality: the realization that all life is a manifesting of a seamless and dynamic Aliveness called by many names: Mother, Tao, Allah, Brahman, YHVH, God, etc.
Employing a variety of contemplative practices—mindfulness meditation, nada yoga (listening to fragile voice of silence), mantra japa (recitation of a sacred word or phrase), and labyrinth walking among others—this Masterclass in Nonduality helps you cultivate nondual consciousness and the ability to act ethically from it.
To prepare you for this retreat, during the week leading up to the retreat you will receive daily pre-recorded lessons providing you with a solid grounding in the idea, life-style, and ethics of nondual Aliveness so that we can devote most of our in-person time to awakening in, with, and as the nondual Aliveness.
As with all One River programs, this Masterclass in Nonduality rests on Perennial Wisdom, the four-fold Truth found at the mystic heart of all religion: 1) All life is a manifesting of a dynamic nondual Aliveness called by many names: Tao, Mother, Brahman, God, Allah, YHVH, Nature, etc.; 2) You have the innate capacity to awaken in, with, and as this Aliveness; 3) Awakening as Aliveness calls you to be a blessing to all the families of the earth, human and otherwise; and 4) Awakening as Aliveness and being a blessing comprise your highest calling as a human being.
This One River Wisdom School weekend is hosted by Frank Levy, Director of the One River Foundation, and taught by One River’s senior faculty Rabbi Rami and the Rev. Gordon Peerman.
