The Method of Two Way Prayer, Saturday, August 28th, 10AM-1:00PM Central Time

There is no charge for this event. Registration is required. Donations are appreciated.

This workshop brings to life the spiritual principles and practices of Alcoholics Anonymous from their Oxford Group roots to the present day. It focuses on early AA’s lost, but life-changing practice known as Two Way Prayer. The workshop is open to members of all 12-Step Fellowships but will benefit spiritual seekers of all stripes.

Many in and out of recovery struggle to find a simple and effective prayer and meditation practice. AA Co- Founder Bill Wilson wrote, “something was lost from A.A. when we stopped emphasizing the morning meditation.” Learn what their practice was and how you can benefit from it today.

The presenter, Father Bill W., an Episcopal Priest from Austin, TX has been active in 12 Step recovery since 1972. A gifted teacher and leader in the treatment field, he has led spirituality workshops throughout the country on the spiritual history of A.A. His research on Two Way Prayer was published in Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Treatment Quarterly Journal.
