“The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens to that primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego could ever reach.” –Carl Jung

When we sleep, our soul opens a door to the unconscious and invites us into a conversation about our lives.  While we may not always remember the details of these divine appointments; each meeting is an opportunity to achieve greater consciousness, healing, and wholeness.  When we accept the petition of soul to listen attentively to the wisdom of our dreams, we find ourselves confronted with a paradox.  That is, while the dream comes to tell us the unvarnished truth of that which we are not conscious, it does so in the language of metaphor and symbol so that the meaning may not be immediately obvious.

Therefore, as the name implies, dreamwork is labor.  As we mine for the gold to be found in the deeper recesses of our unconscious, the effort can be rigorous and often painful.  Dreamwork is much more than superficial party conversation or a quick flip through a dream dictionary.  Dreamwork is deep inner work that requires persistence, perseverance, patience, and practice. For those who are willing to invest time and energy tending faithfully to their dreams, the rewards are rich beyond imagining.

In this workshop, we will explore different methods of working with the personal and archetypal symbols we encounter in our dreams, what messages they may have for us personally and collectively, and practical tips to help you develop a sustainable dreamwork practice that will support you through all of life’s journey.

What to bring:
