Join Donna Ortner for Mindful Yoga, a 6 week series that consists of a weekly 75 minute, slow and thoughtful breath based movement and meditation practice appropriate for all practitioners. The class is designed so that you can find your own pace and move in a way that supports you best. Variations and modifications are offered and encouraged. This class can be challenging even at the slower pace since we focus on moving mindfully with the breath and connecting to the body, but given the modifications offered, it is suited for anyone wanting or needing a more gentle practice. Mindful Yoga offers ways to establish a foundation for wellbeing by fostering physical strength, flexibility, balance and agility and cultivates mindfulness and emotional balance.

As we create a supportive environment for ourselves through these practices, we fortify our inner resources and create conditions to show up more, in the present, where we can access our resilience and the internal anchor that stabilizes and grounds us and carries us through times of change and transformation.

Note: Although no yoga experience is needed to participate, the ability to stand and move comfortably for 45 minutes and get up and down from the floor with ease is recommended. Access to the internet, a yoga mat and yoga block are needed to participate.
