St. Mary’s Sewanee Launches Redesigned Website

Easier to Find Retreats & Workshops

St. Mary’s Sewanee: The Ayres Center for Spiritual Development is to preview its new website:  <>. With beautiful new photography and easier navigation, the site has a contemporary look while still offering the classic options: Learning about retreats and workshops hosted by St. Mary’s Sewanee; information about how to have your organization’s retreat or meeting on our campus, and how to make a personal retreat at the center. The site has easy on-line registration for retreats and workshops and a secure donation portal.

“Visitors will find it is much easier to learn about the programs we offer — both new and established — and plan well into the future,” said the Rev. Dr.  Andy Anderson, executive director of St. Mary’s Sewanee. “Our Centering Prayer programs are the core of our sponsored offerings, but we have added programs about Connecting Creativity through Walking and Writing, Mixed Media Artwork Inspired by Poetry, and Iconography as well as program in partnership with Parker Palmer’s Center for Courage and Renewal. While the new site accommodates the many people who want to make reservations online, we never want to lose our personal connection to our guests.”

St. Mary’s Sewanee: The Ayres Center for Spiritual Development is dedicated to providing spiritual hospitality to persons of diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds, in a place of natural beauty, simplicity, silence, tranquility and warm spiritual rest through retreats, renewal and learning.
